All in all, the Greater Baton Rouge area real estate market is looking good! Home sales, along with sales prices, both saw a boost in 2019, compared to 2018.
Detailed stats by Parish:
- Baton Rouge Area home sales rose 2.2% in 2019, compared to 2018.
- Livingston Parish had the biggest sales gain in 2019, up by 7.6%
- Ascension Parish had a 3.1% gain in 2019
- The number of days a house was on the market rose from 66 in 2018 to 73 in 2019
