Mortgage rates hit their lowest point since late 2016 last month, averaging 3.80%, according to Freddie Mac.
And experts expect this trend to stick around!
Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Mortgage Bankers Association all predict the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage rate will finish out the year between 3.9% and 4.1% - lower than 2018's full-year average of 4.54%.
The jumbo 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage tumbled to 3.81% last week, according to Bankrate. This is the lowest it's been since November 2016!!
